DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The St. Louis County Board and Sheriff Ross Litman recognized 15 people with the 9-1-1 Life Saver Awards on Tuesday.
The awards have been presented since 1993 to honor those who work alone or together, often risking their own safety, to save others from deadly situations.
The awards were presented at the County Board meeting as part of National Telecommunications Week.
Also honored and thanked during the event were all of the 9-1-1 specialists who take the emergency calls and send out the appropriate people to help.
