DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The City of Duluth will be removing trees at several locations this month in preparation for construction projects and as part of the Emerald Ash Borer management plan.
About a hundred trees will be removed from the Kitchi Gammi Park and the Brighton Beach area to facilitate the relocation of the storm damaged shoreline road and new park amenities.
Several trees will also be removed at the Enger Park Golf Course in preparation for construction of a larger capacity irrigation water storage pond.
The removal of dead and dying ash trees along Duluth boulevards will resume this spring and will be replaced by planting other trees.
