DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Essentia’s massive construction project to replace the current St. Mary’s Medical Center is complete and will begin welcoming patients on July 30.
The 900 million dollar Vision Northland project began with a ground breaking four years ago and was the largest private investment in the history of Duluth.
The new facility features 342 private rooms, 13 birthing suites and 16 operating rooms.
A ribbon cutting and other celebrations will be held this week including a community open house on Friday.
