MAKINEN, MN (KDAL) – A woman is in custody following a house fire in the Makinen area Tuesday morning.
The incident began when St. Louis County Sheriff Deputies responded to a disturbance call at the residence.
On arrival, they found a woman standing in a field near the house that was on fire.
A man in the home was able to escape the flames without injury.
Six area fire departments responded to the fire but the house was a total loss.
The woman was taken into custody as the investigation into the incident continues.
