CANOSIA TOWNSHIP, MN (KDAL) – A two vehicle crash at the intersection of the Midway Road and Highway 53 in Canosia Township sent two people to the hospital.
According to the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Department the crash occurred around 10:30 a-m Tuesday when a large box style truck rear-ended a pickup truck that was stopped in the turn lane on a red light.
The drivers had what appeared to be non life threatening injuries and the box truck driver was cited as the result of an investigation.
The Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by Hermantown Police and the Minnesota State Patrol.
