DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – Various law enforcement agencies including Duluth Police, the Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force, the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Department and Homeland Security conducted an operation in downtown Duluth on Monday and Tuesday.
There were 17 people arrested in the 200 block of East 1st Street during the operation along with the seizure of fentanyl and methamphetamine.
Those arrested range in age from 23 to 48 and face a variety of drug and other charges.
Several had outstanding felony and misdemeanor warrants.
According to a news release, the detail was focused on addressing community safety concerns in that area.
