NORTH STAR TOWNSHIP, MN (KDAL) – An 18 year old male was taken into custody by St. Louis County Sheriff Deputies after a shooting incident in North Star Township early Sunday morning.
Several young adults were gathered at a bonfire off the Fox Farm Road when the male suspect and his friends arrived. They were asked to leave since the suspect apparently had some issues with others at the gathering.
The suspect then fired two rounds from a handgun during an altercation. Nobody was injured in the incident.
The suspect was arrested and jailed on 2nd degree assault with a dangerous weapon, terroristic threats and carrying a pistol without a permit charges.
A 9mm handgun and several rounds of ammunition were recovered.
