BABBITT, MN (KDAL) – The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an ATV crash on the Pulkinen Road west of Babbitt on Sunday.
The side-by-side ATV apparently rolled over near a turn in the roadway.
The driver, a 32 year old man from Babbitt, was airlifted to a hospital with severe injuries and the 22 year old female passenger, also from Babbitt, was taken by ambulance to a hospital.
Neither person was wearing a helmet and alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
